Community Resource Hub

The Dilley Public Library serves as a dynamic information hub dedicated to supporting the well-being and connectivity of our patrons. We are deeply commited to connecting residents with the essential services, timely events, and critical assistance available not only within our immediate community but throughout Frio County and the surrounding area. We recognize the importance of easy access to reliable, local information, and we strive to ensure that every individual can find the help they need- from social service programs and educational opportunities to important public meeting schedules and local cultural events. The Frio County Food Bank is here to provide services to our neighbors in need in surrounding counties through our pantry in Frio County. You can also receive assistance with SNAP applications and other federal benefits.

The Frio County Food Bank is supported and structured under the San Antonio Food Bank’s leadership.

The schedule changes have been successfully made for 2025.

For Dilley/Pearsall, distrubutions will now occur on the 4th Thursday of each month, except for November and December due to the holidays.

For Moore, distributions take place on the 3rd Friday, bi-monthly.

  • Camino Real Community Services: 

Camino Real Community Services,  provide a variety of behavioral healthcare to people struggling with mental illness, intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD), addiction, and more. Their service area includes Atascosa, Dimmit, Frio, Karnes, La Salle, Maverick, McMullen, Wilson, and Zavala Counties.

The Early Childhood Intervention (ECI) Program serves families with children between the ages of birth to three who have a disability or developmental delay and live in the following counties:  Atascosa, Bandera, Bee, Comal, Dimmit, Frio, Guadalupe, Kinney, La Salle, Live Oak, Maverick, McMullen, Medina, Real, Uvalde, Wilson, and Zavala.
